Since I was a young boy, I’ve always had a love for chainsaws and of course I also loved seeing what made things tick. I didn’t know it at the time but those two loves would eventually lead me to a career at a local power & recreation shop. A place full of chainsaw history that I had loved visiting as a young boy when my father took me there.
Now, I’ve spent the last several years perfecting the love for chainsaws that had started years ago. I started to collect saws and parts and grow my love and knowledge. I then started to realize, while looking for these parts and saws online, that there are very little places to find good used parts at a fair price. At least with a name and a story attached to them . So the pigpen was born! A place you can get parts and know a team of people with a passion for this stand behind each and every part.
You might wonder where the name the pigpen came from? Well it originates from this little parts room I encountered, where old and wore out equipment found their final resting places. I never did find out why it was named the pigpen but the name definitely stuck with me through the years.
